19-7-2020, Israel – The second wave of COVID-19 has sowed growing discontent in Israel, where thousands of people protested on Saturday (18/07/2020) against the Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu and his government over handling of the coronavirus and by complaints of corruption.
A total of 10,000 protested against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu outside his official residence in Jerusalem demanding his resignation over coronavirus crisis.
The protests were held in various parts of the country, the largest were held in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
The first mobilization took place in front of Prime Minister Netanyahu’s residence in Jerusalem, where some 2,000 protesters gathered to demand his resignation. Hundreds were later dispersed throughout the city, where they confronted the Police, who arrested several people.
