Russia Uprising : Wagner Mercenary Group led by  Yevgeny Prigozhin Takes Control of Major Cities

(Moscow) – Vladimir Putin, the leader of Russia, referred to the revolt that was initiated on Friday night by the Wagner mercenary group, directed by Yevgeny Prigozhin, as “treason” and warned that those responsible would pay a price. He continued by saying that everything going on was motivated by the “excessive personal ambitions” of the paramilitary leader and was an act against the nation.

Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the rebellious Russian mercenary group, claimed today that he had taken control of Rostov-on-Don in an effort to overthrow the military hierarchy amid reports of an armed uprising.
