Facial recognition mandatory for new phone users in China

Facial recognition has become mandatory for new phone users in China. With the advancement in technology, more and more features are being added into mobile phones which include facial recognition and thumbprint recognition. However, China has gone step ahead in facial recognition by imposing a new mandatory rule which will make facial recognition mandatory for anyone getting a new phone.

People are now required to have their faces scanned when registering new phone services.
