The Fire 7 is the most affordable tablet in the Amazon catalog. A durable, robust equipment designed to consume content that is now much more powerful but just as cheap as ever. The device now has twice the storage, a faster processor although it maintains the design, external characteristics and price, which starts from the 69.99 euros with ads when the Fire 7 is idle (84.99 euros without ads).
Specifically, the Fire 7 has a 7-inch IPS screen, a 1.3 GHz Quad-Core processor, and two versions of 16 GB or 32 GB storage – although a microSD card of up to 512 GB can be used. It also has a 7-hour battery life, two megapixel front and rear cameras.
One of the peculiarities of the tablet is that the Google Play Store is not available, so some of the apps that are usually found on Android phones are not on it, such as UBEAT, Audible or LaLigaSportstv. To download applications, it will be necessary to do so through the Amazon Appstore, where they are – in addition to all the company’s services – other apps such as Netflix, Spotify, Instagram, DAZN, Facebook, Twitter, Skype or Instagram.
The tablet has an autonomy of up to 7 hours to read books, listen to music, watch movies, surf the Internet, etc. With a subscription to Amazon Prime, all these possibilities can be exploited much more through the services Prime Video, Prime Music and Prime Reading.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
It must be remembered that the tablet, despite being governed by a special version of Android, does not have access to the Google Play Store. Amazon has its own app store, the Amazon Appstore.
