The screen of the LG G6 is IPS LCD FullVision 5.7 inches with QHD + resolution. It also features 18: 9 aspect ratio, Dolby Vision and HDR 10 as above. Will there be differences in brightness and sharpness? Well, practically none. The display will be perfect in both, and you will hardly notice the change.
LG V30 vs. LG G6 : Performance
In this section of the comparative LG V30 vs. LG G6, there is a leap in quality compared to the previous flagship. The LG V30 already incorporates the Snapdragon 835 processor, while the LG G6 wears a Snapdragon 821. It is not a huge difference, but they do appreciate it to some extent. Both the LG V30 and the LG G6 feature a dual rear camera configuration. However, look at the features of the LG V30 in photographic matter. It has a 16-megapixel sensor with f / 1.6 aperture. Which means that it is the biggest opening of a smartphone so far. In this case, you can get 25% more light than the f / 1.8 aperture of the LG G6. A difference that will be especially appreciated in the night and interior photographs.
Also, the LG V30 comes with a cinema mode in its camera that will turn us into almost film directors. The second rear sensor in both is 13 megapixels. While the front also repeats the sequence of 5 megapixels. Nevertheless, the improvement in camera is evident in favor of an LG V30 that will make the best photos of the night of the market.
LG V30 vs. LG G6: Other Features
In the rest of the characteristics, there are no big differences. Both have the same battery of 3.300 mAh, with fast charge, and have Android Nougat as an operating system (7.0 in the LG G6 and 7.1.1 in the LG V30). The levels of connectivity are identical, although we can not say the same regarding sound. The latter will be Hi-Fi on the LG V30, a higher audio quality than the LG G6 as it is a spectacular Quad DAC system.
By the way, the two phones are still IP68 certified water and dust resistant.
Conclusion
After analyzing the comparative LG V30 vs. LG G6, it must be said that while both phones look very similar in design, internally, there are important differences. On both the screen and the processor, camera and sound system improvements are evident in the LG V30.
We have to wait for the price of the LG V30, which has not been revealed at the presentation event. If we consider that the price of LG G6 was 750 euros in the european market, we imagine that it will exceed 800 euros in the LG V30. Differences to best set the tone. Although if you want to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, you will not be able to go much higher price.
