World First Computer Mouse was made of Wood

World's First computer mouse was made of wood. This mouse was first created for Royal Canadian Navy and was supposed to be used in warfare.

The first computer mouse was developed by Douglas Englebart during the 60s and the first prototype of computer mouse was developed the Royal Canadian Navy back way back in 1952 for locating targets in warfare.

The first prototype of the mouse was launched in 1963. Back then it looked like a large rectangular block of wood having button on top. This mouse was first used by the Xerox Alto computer system in 1973. However, it was not that popular when it was launched. Today, we cannot think of computer without a mouse.
